Josef Bloeth started his career in the culinary field in 1975.
Over the past 34 years he has gained a wealth of exposure, knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry garnered from leading hotels in Korea, China, Hong Kong, Egypt, Switzerland, Germany, and the USA.
Josef is an experienced Executive Pastry Chef with a demonstrated history of success.  He is extremely knowledgeable with food cost and its effective procedures and an effective Team Leader, who can direct and manage a “Diverse” and multicultural workforce to achieve goals and objectives. Josef has successfully participated in the opening of the following operations:

  • Asiana Airlines Catering –Incheon Airport, Korea. 2000
  • Shangri-La Far East Plaza Hotel – Taipei, Taiwan. 1993
  • Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman B.W.I. 1987
  • Oberoi Al-Arish Resort, Pharaoh Nile Cruises, and Mena House French Restaurant. 1988 Egypt.

previously Work from January 2011 to December 2011 as R & D Pastry Bakery Director for JFNB Korea worked from 2000-2010 for LSG Sky Chefs (formally Asiana  Airlines Catering) – Seoul, Korea, Josef Supervises trains and develops the Pastry Bakery staff, Implementing new standards, procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.  He also prepares production plans within LSG catering time limits and is responsible for test production and product development as well as product evaluation records, assisting the purchasing department in cost control by providing detailed and accurate specification on raw material requisitions. Josef also ensures cooperation of production with operation/tray setting, select menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation whilst keeping food cost inline while ensuring the highest quality of products are produced with strict hygiene procedures being followed at all times.
